CSS/XHTML based single layout needed for a professor's website. Professor of Science needed a simple, easily edited and clean markup website for her personal lab.
Previously her website was like a mess. She used tabular layouts, no design, no accessibility, very hard to edit, and alot of features missing. And too plain.
I spent a couple of hours to construct a nice clean page, which follows webstandards. I used XHTML with strict doc-type for the design.
The page was reduced 80% in size from the previous design , which allowed a quicker page load. And the professor could easily edit the site without reading through 1000 lines of code. Thats the beauty of CSS.
The doctor later edited the website by herself with ease.
